Dragonflies cut through the bright blue sky, like tiny black helicopters, but without all the chopper noise.
These photos don’t represent the density of the dragonfly cloud. It lasted for most of the afternoon. And am so sorry the camera failed to record this fantastic summer moment.






Spring storms, or squalls, can be dramatic and fast moving.

Sometimes they deliver rain, sometimes snow, sometimes just odd white fluffy stuff.




And then they’re gone.

After a winter storm in Maine the sky is usually bright blue.

Which makes our windows so pretty.
