Italy has cashmere, Maine has Swans Island Blankets.

Located in midcoast Maine, in modest Northport, they have become renowned worldwide for their magnificent, hand-made, blankets. You’ll find them listed by many of the leading designers as a must-have. And they could only be made in Maine.
