Joyce Tenneson’s home on Rockport Harbor was one of the wonderful locations for Camden’s annual Merryspring Kitchen Tour.
Such a clever idea for a house tour! Who wouldn’t want to spend the day peeking into some wonderfully designed kitchens and tasting some of the best offerings from our fabulous local chefs?
Her small entrance garden was lovely. Great use of hostas.
The view as well.
And Melissa Kelly from Primo wasn’t afraid to break a few eggs in showing off how to use this great kitchen.
She and her helpers served very clever, and elegant, eggs with spinach and caviar!!!

Winter landscapes are black and white and tones of grey.

So that red really pops whenever you see it.

And is so appealing in snowy areas like Scandinavia and New England.

The spirits are stirring.

The big day is looming.

And Camden is ready.
This site lists ghost sightings in Maine. And this is the Maine Ghost Hunters site. You might want to check them out before trick and treats begin. And let’s hope you don’t need the Ghost Busters.
Happy Halloween!!!

Four months ago a new shop threw open it’s doors on Bayview Street in Camden.

And all the design nuts were thrilled.

They now have a fantastic new source for all the equipment needed to put together a very sweet lifestyle.

Because what the new shop, Sugar Tools, really sells is contemporary lifestyle eye candy.

The lovely owner, Amy O’Donnell, formerly worked with the brilliant Hable Construction in New York.

And she has recently brought her sophisticated ways to lucky Bayview Street in Camden.

Sugar Tools fills smart homes, and gardens, and closets with her sweet taste.

And hearts too — with charming gifts items, and stationery. Kids aren’t forgotten either.

The prices are sweet as well. Yum!
