Filling in the cracks.

Between the cracks on a Maine island.

Beautiful pink granite rocks make up entire islands in Maine and a good part of the shoreline, especially around Mt. Desert Island.

On a recent walk around tiny Rams Island, just off of Gotts Island, we discovered a few things that have found shelter in the cracks between the granite.
