And today, the 81st day of 2012, we were basking in 81 degrees.

Diet Coke & Mentos on the beach.

The original Diet Coke and Mentos video was one of the first viral YouTube videos. And not many people know that these Eepy Bird guys are from Maine.

Check out their YouTube channel for lots of other wacky ‘experiments.’

So it was very exciting to find this kit. And try it out on the beach at Wadsworth Cove in Castine. Our mistake was just using one mento. But now we know you need lots more.

And look, you can even reuse the mentos!!
